Ingredients

  • 1 piece Brie cheese (whole wheel)
  • 4 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sweet paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoons Smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 loaf Baguette (sliced)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Peel the garlic cloves and place them on a small piece of aluminum foil. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, wrap tightly, and roast in the oven for 20–25 minutes until soft and fragrant.

Step 3

While the garlic is roasting, slice the baguette into thin rounds and set aside.

Step 4

Once the garlic is roasted, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Mash the garlic into a paste using a fork.

Step 5

In a small bowl, combine the roasted garlic paste, sweet paprika, smoked paprika, remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a smooth filling.

Step 6

Using a small knife, carefully cut a circular section on the top rind of the Brie wheel to create a shallow pocket. Scoop out a thin layer of cheese to make room for the filling, being sure not to pierce through the bottom or sides.

Step 7

Spoon the garlic paprika mixture into the pocket in the Brie. Smooth it out evenly with the back of the spoon.

Step 8

Place the stuffed Brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 8–10 minutes or until the cheese is warm and slightly melted.

Step 9

Once the Brie is ready, remove it from the oven and let it sit for 2–3 minutes. Transfer it to a serving platter and surround it with the sliced baguette.

Step 10

Serve immediately while the Brie is warm and creamy. Guests can spread the cheese and flavorful filling onto the baguette slices for a perfect bite-sized treat.
