  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 0.5 cup water or beef broth

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan or skillet over medium heat.

Add the finely chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
