Ingredients

  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 piece Lemon, halved
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Creole mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon White wine vinegar
  • 2 pieces Green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, minced
  • 2 cups Romaine lettuce, shredded (for serving)
  • 4 pieces Lemon wedges (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Fill a large pot with water and add the kosher salt and the halved lemon. Bring the water to a boil.

Step 2

Add the shrimp to the boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and are fully cooked.

Using a slotted spoon, transfer the shrimp to a bowl of ice water to cool them quickly. Once cooled, drain and pat dry with paper towels.
