Ingredients

  • 4 pounds Turkey breast
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Celery stalks

Directions

Step 1

Peel and mince the garlic cloves. Finely chop the rosemary, thyme, and parsley. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped herbs, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the herb butter.

Step 3

Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Carefully loosen the skin and rub half of the herb butter underneath the skin. Rub the remaining butter mixture over the outside of the turkey.

Step 4

Roughly chop the onion, carrots, and celery. Place them in the bottom of the crock pot to create a bed for the turkey.

Step 5

Pour the chicken broth into the crock pot over the vegetables.

Step 6

Place the prepared turkey breast on top of the vegetable bed, skin side up.

Step 7

Cover the crock pot with a lid and set it to cook on low for 6 hours or until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Step 8

Once cooked, carefully remove the turkey breast from the crock pot and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Step 9

Strain the cooking liquid and serve it as a light gravy or discard it, depending on preference.

Step 10

Serve the turkey slices with the cooked vegetables and your favorite sides. Enjoy!
