Ingredients

  • 1 pound Pizza dough
  • 6 pieces Large eggs
  • 0.25 cup Milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 0.5 cup Cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Chopped spinach
  • 0.5 cup Diced tomato
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.25 cup Flour (for dusting)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

On a floured surface, divide the pizza dough into 4 equal portions and roll each into a 6-inch circle. Set aside.

Step 3

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Step 4

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring gently, until the eggs are softly scrambled. Remove from heat.

Step 5

In the center of each dough circle, evenly distribute the scrambled eggs, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped spinach, and diced tomatoes.

Step 6

Fold each dough circle in half over the filling and crimp the edges tightly with a fork to seal. Ensure the calzones are tightly sealed to prevent any leaks during baking.

Step 7

Brush the tops of the calzones with olive oil and poke a small hole in the top of each to allow steam to escape.

Step 8

Place the calzones on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Step 10

Enjoy your warm, cheesy Breakfast Calzones as a satisfying start to the day!
