Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Sirloin steaks
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1.5 cups Breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese (optional, grated)
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil (for frying)

Directions

Step 1

Pat the sirloin steaks dry using paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Step 2

Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls. In the first bowl, add the all-purpose flour. In the second bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. In the third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan cheese, if using.

Step 3

Dredge each steak in the flour, making sure to coat it evenly and shake off any excess.

Step 4

Dip the floured steak into the egg mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.

Step 5

Finally, press the steak into the breadcrumbs, covering it completely. Gently pat the breadcrumbs onto the steak to help them adhere. Repeat this process for all the steaks.

Step 6

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Make sure the oil is hot but not smoking before adding the steaks.

Step 7

Place the breaded steaks in the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid crowding. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the crust is golden brown and the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.

Step 8

Transfer the cooked steaks to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Step 9

Serve warm with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh green salad.
