Lay the cube steaks on a clean surface and pat them dry with a paper towel. Lightly season both sides with 1 tsp of salt and 1/2 tsp of black pepper. Set aside.
Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika and garlic powder.
