Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Baguette or crusty bread
  • 100 grams Unsalted butter
  • 100 grams Red caviar
  • 5 grams Fresh dill
  • 1 Lemon

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Slice the baguette or crusty bread into 1 cm thick slices. You should get around 12 slices from a medium-sized loaf.

Lay the bread slices on a baking tray and place them in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes or until they are slightly crisp and golden brown.

While the bread is toasting, take the butter out of the refrigerator to soften if you haven’t done so already.

Finely chop the fresh dill and set it aside.

Once toasted, remove the bread slices from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Generously spread a layer of softened unsalted butter on each bread slice.

Top each buttered slice with a spoonful of red caviar, spreading evenly.
