  • 120 grams Sourdough starter (active and bubbly)
  • 120 ml Whole milk
  • 60 grams Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 400 grams All-purpose flour
  • 50 grams Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Ground cinnamon (filling)
  • 100 grams Brown sugar (filling)
  • 50 grams Unsalted butter (softened, filling)
  • 120 grams Powdered sugar (glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons Whole milk (glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (glaze)

Directions

Step 1

Add the sourdough starter, milk, melted butter, egg, flour, sugar, and salt to the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the 'Dough' cycle and start the machine.

Step 2

Once the 'Dough' cycle is complete (this usually takes about 1.5 hours), transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface.

Roll the dough into a rectangle approximately 12x16 inches (30x40 cm).

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
