  • 2 racks Baby back ribs
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion (sliced)
  • 4 cloves Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 0.5 cup Barbecue sauce (optional for glazing)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 325°F (162°C).

Step 2

Prepare the ribs by removing the silver skin membrane from the underside of each rack. Use a paper towel for grip if needed.

In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and brown sugar to create a dry rub.

Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the ribs. Let them sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
