  • 3 pieces ripe peaches
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 0.25 cups bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Step 2

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

Cut the peaches into halves, remove the pits, and then slice each half into wedges.

Step 4

In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the peach slices and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are caramelized and slightly softened. Remove the peaches from the skillet and set aside.
