Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
  • 0.5 cup Teriyaki sauce
  • 4 pieces Pineapple rings (fresh or canned)
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese slices
  • 4 pieces Sesame seed burger buns
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce
  • 4 slices Tomato slices
  • 4 pieces Red onion slices
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape each into a burger patty about 1/2-inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Place the patties in a shallow dish and pour the teriyaki sauce over them. Marinate for 15 minutes, turning halfway through.

While the patties marinate, prepare the pineapple rings by patting them dry if using canned. Set aside.
