Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Rose syrup
  • 2 cups Full-fat milk (chilled)
  • 2 tbsp Sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups Crushed ice
  • 2 tbsp Basil seeds (soaked)
  • 0.5 cup Falooda sev (boiled and chilled)
  • 2 scoops Vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tbsp Chopped nuts (almonds or pistachios)
  • 1 tbsp Edible rose petals (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Start by soaking the basil seeds in water for 10 minutes until they swell up. Drain and set them aside.

Step 2

Boil the falooda sev according to package instructions. Once softened, drain, rinse under cold water, and chill in the fridge.

Step 3

In a large mixing jug, combine the chilled milk and sweetened condensed milk. Stir well until fully mixed.

Step 4

In serving glasses, add 2 tablespoons of rose syrup to the bottom of each glass.

Step 5

Layer the glasses with a couple of tablespoons of soaked basil seeds, followed by a layer of falooda sev.

Step 6

Pour the chilled milk mixture into each glass, filling them about three-quarters full.
