  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon Dried chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds

Directions

Step 1

In a dry skillet, toast the coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, mustard seeds, and black peppercorns over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until they become aromatic, stirring frequently to avoid burning.

Step 2

Remove the toasted spices from the heat and let them cool completely.

Step 3

Using a spice grinder, mortar and pestle, or high-speed blender, grind the cooled whole spices into a fine powder.

Step 4
