Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Brioche slider buns
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 6 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 12 pieces Cherry tomatoes
  • 0.25 cups Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoons Lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

Place the bacon slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until crispy. Remove and let drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Step 3

While the bacon cooks, wash and pat dry the romaine lettuce leaves. Tear each leaf into smaller, slider-sized pieces.

Step 4

Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and set them aside.

Step 5

In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. This will be your aioli. Set it aside.

Step 6

Cut the brioche slider buns in half and lightly brush the cut sides with olive oil.

Step 7

Toast the buns in a large skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the heat.

Step 8

Assemble the Blteenies: spread a thin layer of aioli on the bottom bun, then layer with a piece of romaine lettuce, half a slice of bacon (fold if needed), and a cherry tomato half (cut side down). Top with the other half of the bun.

Step 9

Secure each Blteenie with a toothpick if desired, to hold the layers together.
