Ingredients

  • 200 grams Mozzarella cheese
  • 20 grams Fresh basil leaves
  • 100 grams All-purpose flour
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 100 ml Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Grate the mozzarella cheese into a mixing bowl and finely chop the fresh basil leaves. Add them to the bowl.

Step 2

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and chopped basil, making sure the mixture is evenly combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth.

Sift the all-purpose flour into the cheese mixture. Gradually pour in the egg and milk mixture, stirring to create a thick, lump-free batter. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
