Ingredients

  • 1 large Sub roll
  • 6 slices Sliced ham
  • 3 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • 3 slices Pickles
  • 1 teaspoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder

Directions

Step 1

Slice the sub roll lengthwise, but do not cut all the way through, creating a hinge for the sandwich.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with mustard. Spread the mixture evenly onto the inside surfaces of the sub roll.

Step 3

Sprinkle the inside of the roll lightly with black pepper and garlic powder for added flavor.

Step 4

In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter. Let the butter melt and coat the pan.
