  • 3 cups Green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1.5 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 large Egg, for egg wash
  • 1 tablespoon Water, for egg wash

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Mix well.

Step 2

Heat the milk until warm (about 110°F) and stir in the melted butter. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients.

Step 3

Crack in the egg and stir until the dough begins to come together. Knead on a lightly floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
