Ingredients

  • 6 pieces large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Place the 6 large eggs in a medium saucepan and cover completely with cold water, about 1 inch above the eggs.

Step 2

Bring the water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, cover the saucepan with a lid, turn off the heat, and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 minutes.

Step 3

While the eggs are cooking, prepare an ice bath by filling a large bowl with cold water and ice cubes.

Step 4

After 10 minutes, transfer the eggs to the ice bath using a slotted spoon. Let them sit in the ice bath for 5 minutes to cool completely.

Step 5

Carefully peel the shells off the eggs, then slice each egg in half lengthwise. Gently pop the yolks out and place them in a medium mixing bowl. Arrange the egg white halves on a serving tray.

Step 6

Using a fork, mash the yolks until they are finely crumbled. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the filling is smooth and creamy.

Step 7

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture evenly into the egg white halves. For a decorative look, use a piping bag with a star tip.

Step 8

Sprinkle paprika evenly over the tops of the stuffed eggs for a pop of color and flavor. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Step 9

Serve immediately or refrigerate the deviled eggs until ready to serve. They can be made up to 1 day in advance.
