Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Button mushrooms
  • 300 grams Beef sirloin
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley
  • 12 pieces Toothpicks

Directions

Step 1

Clean the button mushrooms with a damp paper towel and trim the stems if necessary.

Step 2

Thinly slice the beef sirloin into strips about 8 cm long and wide enough to wrap around the mushrooms. Aim for about 3mm thickness.

Step 3

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Step 4

Add the beef strips to the mixture and let them marinate for 10 minutes.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).

Step 6

Take each mushroom, place it on a beef strip, and wrap the strip around it. Secure with a toothpick.

Step 7

Place the beef-wrapped mushrooms on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes.
