  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 pieces burger buns
  • 4 pieces lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 small red onion
  • 0.25 cup ketchup
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently to incorporate the spices evenly through the beef.

Step 2

Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal parts and shape them into patties, slightly larger than the burger buns, as they will shrink when cooked.

Step 3

In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until they are crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess fat.
