Ingredients

  • 6 medium-sized peppers banana peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoons red chili flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Wash the banana peppers thoroughly and pat them dry.

Cut off the tops of the banana peppers, slice them in half lengthwise, and remove the seeds and membranes. If you prefer a spicier spread, you can leave a few seeds intact.

Place the banana pepper halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
