Ingredients

  • 300 grams egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 units garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 units shallots, thinly sliced
  • 200 grams chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 150 grams shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 large carrot, julienned
  • 100 grams cabbage, shredded
  • 100 grams green beans, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon sambal oelek (chili paste)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 2 units spring onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fried shallots
  • 2 units lime wedges

Directions

Step 1

Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until just tender. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and sliced shallots, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the sliced chicken breast and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until cooked through.

Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
