Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (6 oz each) Halibut fillets
  • 0.25 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 cloves (minced) Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons (chopped, for garnish) Fresh parsley
  • 4 pieces (for serving) Lemon wedges

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to create the balsamic glaze.

Step 3

Place the halibut fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush the balsamic glaze generously over the top and sides of each fillet.

Step 4

Bake the halibut fillets in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Step 5

While the fish is baking, transfer the remaining balsamic glaze to a small saucepan and simmer over low heat for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Step 6

Remove the halibut from the oven and drizzle the reduced balsamic glaze over the fillets for added flavor.

Step 7

Garnish the fish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
