  • 0.25 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Molasses
  • 0.5 cup, chopped Walnuts
  • 0.5 cup, sliced Almonds
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons, melted Butter
  • 1 cup Chicken or vegetable broth

Directions

Step 1

Rinse and drain the canned navy beans to remove any excess liquid and set aside.

Step 2

In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic in 1 tablespoon of melted butter until softened and aromatic, about 5 minutes.
