Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 2 cups Fresh spinach
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 unit Large egg
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil (for greasing)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

Wash and dry the spinach, then finely chop it.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

Step 4

Mix everything together until well combined, but avoid overmixing to keep the meatballs tender.

Step 5

Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs (about the size of a golf ball) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each meatball.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Step 7

Optional: For extra browning, broil the meatballs on high for 1-2 minutes at the end of cooking.

Step 8

Remove the meatballs from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Step 9

Serve warm with your favorite pasta, sauce, or as a protein addition to salads or grain bowls.
