  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 lb Ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 4 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
  • 1 can Nonstick cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

Step 2

Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, softened cream cheese, 2 cups of shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, heavy cream, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until creamy and well combined.

Step 4

Add the cooked spaghetti to the cheese mixture and toss until the pasta is fully coated.

Step 5

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or Italian sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease. Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 6

Spread half of the meat sauce in the prepared baking dish. Layer the spaghetti mixture evenly on top. Spread the remaining meat sauce over the spaghetti layer.

Step 7

Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.

Step 8

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Step 9

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.

Step 10

Let the spasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Step 11

Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and enjoy!
