  • 16 oz Spaghetti
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 lb Ground Italian sausage
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 3 cups Marinara sauce
  • 14.5 oz Diced tomatoes
  • 6 oz Tomato paste
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups Cottage cheese
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 0 Cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 3

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.

Step 4

Stir in the marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste. Season with salt and black pepper. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese on top is bubbling and golden.

Remove from the oven and let the baked spaghetti rest for 10 minutes before serving.
