Ingredients

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 unit garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with a bit of olive oil or cooking spray.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne pasta until al dente according to the package instructions. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain and set aside.
