Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground beef or lamb
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 50 grams parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 pita breads
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped onion, parsley, tomato, cumin, allspice, salt, and black pepper. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until well combined.

Cut each pita bread in half to form pockets.
