Prep Time:15 mins

Total Time:25 mins
Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 6 pieces large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons dill pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoons paprika (for garnish)
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Place the eggs in a single layer in a medium saucepan. Add enough cold water to cover the eggs by about 1 inch.

Step 2

Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the eggs simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for at least 5 minutes. This helps make peeling easier.

Step 4

Carefully peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and transfer them to a medium mixing bowl.

Step 5

Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth. Add mayonnaise, finely chopped dill pickle, dill pickle juice, yellow mustard, fresh dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Step 6

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the hollowed egg whites, filling them generously.

Step 7

Sprinkle the filled eggs with paprika for garnish and an extra pop of color.

Step 8

Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Step 9

Serve cold and enjoy!
