Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground pork
  • 0.25 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 0.75 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 pieces Burger buns
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 1 small Red onion
  • 0.25 cup Pickles
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Mustard

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix everything together with your hands or a spatula until well combined.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties approximately 1/2 inch thick.

Step 3

Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil.

Step 4

Once the oil is hot, place the pork patties onto the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Avoid pressing down on the patties to retain their juices.

Step 5

While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato and red onion into thin rounds and set them aside along with the lettuce leaves and pickles.

Step 6

Toast the burger buns lightly in the skillet, grill, or toaster until golden brown. Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the bottom halves of the buns.

Step 7

Layer the cooked patties on top of the condiments, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, onion rings, and pickles. Place the top halves of the buns on the burgers.

Step 8

Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes, such as fries, salad, or coleslaw. Enjoy your perfect pork burger!
