Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Pork ribs or riblets
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Honey

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top of the foil for even cooking.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder to create a spice rub.

Step 4

Pat the pork ribs or riblets dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil over the ribs and rub it evenly to coat.

Step 5

Evenly sprinkle the spice rub on both sides of the ribs and gently massage it in for full coverage.

Step 6

Place the seasoned ribs on the wire rack and cover them tightly with aluminum foil to trap moisture.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. During this time, prepare the glaze.

Step 8

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Stir and let the glaze warm gently for 5-7 minutes, then remove from heat.

Step 9

After 35 minutes of baking, remove the foil from the ribs and brush a generous layer of glaze on top.

Step 10

Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, basting with more glaze halfway through.

Step 11

Once the ribs are caramelized and slightly charred, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Step 12

Slice the ribs, brush on any remaining glaze, and enjoy!
