Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (6 oz each) Mahi Mahi fillets
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 3 cloves (minced) Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons (chopped) Fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon (chopped) Fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon (or to taste) Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons (or to taste) Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 pieces (for serving) Lemon wedges

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.

Step 2

Place the Mahi Mahi fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 1 hour, for the flavors to meld.

Step 3

Remove the fillets from the marinade and pat them dry with a paper towel. Discard the leftover marinade.

Step 4

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.

Step 5

Once the butter is melted and sizzling, add the Mahi Mahi fillets to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side, then carefully flip the fillets.

Step 6

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet and cook the fillets for another 3-5 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Step 7

Remove the Mahi Mahi from the skillet and let it rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Step 8

Serve the fillets with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of citrus flavor. Pair with steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
