Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Large button mushrooms
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil.

Step 2

Gently clean the mushrooms using a damp paper towel to remove any dirt. Carefully remove the stems from the mushrooms and set them aside.

Step 3

Finely chop the mushroom stems and set them aside for the filling.

Step 4

In a medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped mushroom stems and minced garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until the mixture softens and the liquid is mostly evaporated. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed mushroom stems and garlic with cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the filling is smooth and well combined.
