Ingredients

  • 2 5-ounce cans Canned tuna (packed in water)
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 0.25 cup Celery, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Hot sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 slices Rye bread (or bread of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, softened
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • 4 slices Tomato, sliced

Directions

Step 1

Drain the canned tuna thoroughly and transfer it into a medium mixing bowl.

Step 2

Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, finely chopped celery, red onion, parsley, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.

Mix all the ingredients together until well combined and set the tuna mixture aside.

Butter one side of each slice of bread using the softened butter.
